The Widget page is where you set how the chat screen looks and behaves when guests talk to Mira. You manage the link you give to guests, the code you add to your website and the chat's welcome screen here. The information Mira gives (times, policies and so on) is not on this page; it lives on the Business Info page.
What is on the screen#
When you click Widget in the left menu, you see a WIDGET & CHAT SETTINGS label, the Widget title and a short description at the top. Below that come collapsible boxes (sections). You can open or close each box by clicking its title. On desktop, there is an On this page menu on the left; click a box's name and the page scrolls to that box and opens it (Panel Overview).

In the Pro-only boxes (5, 6, 7, 8), a Basic plan shows: a PRO badge in the box title, an amber warning inside the box (for example "Changing the assistant's name/photo is a Pro feature.") and an Upgrade to Pro link. The fields are faded and cannot be clicked, and the Save Changes button is hidden. For plans, see Account and Plans.
When you save a box, a green confirmation appears at the top (its text is ✓ Business info updated successfully.; the Widget page uses the same message).
Step by step: getting the widget ready#
Example scenario: "Blue Bay Hotel", a 30-room hotel, has its own website and wants to add the chat to it.
- Open Widget and look at the Live Preview box. You see your assistant inside a fake website, exactly as it will look on your own site. After about 1.5 seconds a small greeting bubble appears above the chat icon. Click the icon and try a few questions.
- In the Website Widget box, choose the Position (Right (center), Left (center), Bottom right, Bottom left) and press Save.
- Press Copy Code in the same box (for two seconds the button reads Copied ✓) and add the code to your website. How to add it is explained on Installing on Your Website and Guest Link.
- (Pro) Give your assistant your own name and photo in AI Receptionist Identity.
- (Pro) Write the Greeting Bubble and Custom Welcome Message to suit your business.
- Add the 3-5 questions guests will ask most often to Guided Suggestion Chips.
- Decide your Direct Booking Banner and Pricing Visibility preferences.
- (Optional) Once you have added the code to your site and seen it work, type the
bluebayhotel.comdomain in the Domain Security box, tick Enable domain security and save. That way, another site that copies your code cannot use your chat. - After each change the page reloads and the Live Preview updates automatically; check the result there.
Field by field#
Live Preview#
A preview that runs with your real widget code and real settings: your assistant sits inside a page that looks like "your business's website". The title bar shows your business name (and your logo if you have one), and on the right a language selector (🇹🇷 Türkçe, 🇬🇧 English, 🇩🇪 Deutsch, 🇷🇺 Русский) with a small ➜ button next to it. If you choose a language and press ➜, the preview reloads in that language, so you can try your assistant in all four languages. The preview starts in your Default Language.
The Open in new tab ↗ link at the top right opens the preview in a larger tab. The preview reloads with fresh data whenever you save a box (every time the page reloads). It does not update as you type.
Guest Link#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Guest Link | Your business's fixed link. It always opens your business for everyone. You can share it by QR code, SMS or WhatsApp. It opens in a new tab when clicked. There is no copy button; right-click the link (long-press on a phone) to copy the link address, or copy it from the address bar of the page that opens. | https://app.airoomier.com/assistant/blue-bay-hotel |
The first time a guest opens it, they see a Terms & Conditions window first. This window is the same for every business and cannot be changed from the panel: it has a language selector at the top right (TR / EN / DE / RU), four points under the Terms and Conditions heading (that answers are generated by AI, that conversations may be recorded, that sensitive details such as credit card information should not be shared in the chat, and that continuing means accepting the terms), and the Decline and Accept & Continue buttons. A guest who presses Accept & Continue does not see the window again in the same browser. Decline also closes the window and the guest can go on chatting; but because the choice is not remembered, the window appears again the next time the chat is opened.
Even if you use your panel in the dark theme, the chat screen your guests see (Guest Link, website widget and room QR) always opens in the light design; your panel theme is never passed on to guests.
By adding something like ?lang=en to the link you can start the chat in the language you want (tr, en, de, ru). Details are on Installing on Your Website and Guest Link.
Install App on Phone#
This box is for information only; there is nothing for you to set. Guests who open the Guest Link see an Install App button at the top right of the chat screen (on a narrow screen only the phone icon shows). On Android / Chrome, tapping the button installs right away and adds a one-tap shortcut to Mira on the phone's home screen. On iPhone / Safari, because Apple does not support automatic installation, the button opens a short instruction showing the Share → Add to Home Screen steps.
Website Widget#
Here you see the one-line code you add to your site, and the widget's position.
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Code box | The <script> line you add to your site. It is specific to your business. |
<script async src="https://app.airoomier.com/widget.js" data-hotel="blue-bay-hotel"></script> |
| Copy Code | Copies the code to the clipboard. If the browser does not allow clipboard access, nothing happens; select and copy the code by hand instead. | The button reads Copied ✓ for 2 seconds. |
| Position: | Where the chat bubble sits on your site. Options: Right (center), Left (center) (vertical middle of the screen edge), Bottom right, Bottom left. Pick one and press Save. | Default Right (center) |
To change the position you do not need to copy the code again: the position is stored on the server and the widget reads it every time it opens. A change reaches visitors on your site in about 1 minute at most (widget settings are cached briefly).
Brand Colors (Pro)#
Paints the guest chat screen and the chat bubble on your website in your own brand colors. You choose only two colors; lighter shades, hover colors and text colors are derived from them automatically.
| Field | What it does | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Main color | Buttons, links and highlights in the chat window. | Default is Airoomier blue (#3E6BE6). |
| Dark color | Header bar, guest message bubbles and the website bubble. | Default is dark navy (#0E1B33). |
| Reset to Airoomier defaults | If you tick it and save, both colors go back to the defaults. | — |
- Open the Brand Colors box.
- Click the Main color and Dark color swatches and pick your color in the color picker (or type the color code).
- Press Save Changes. The page reloads and the box comes back open.
- Check the new colors of the chat bubble and window in the Live Preview.
- The text color on buttons (white or dark) is chosen automatically based on the color you pick; if you choose a very light main color, the button text becomes dark.
- The new colors show up on the Guest Link right away, and on the bubble on your website within about 1 minute at most. You do not need to change the code on your site.
- The same colors are also applied to the panel itself: buttons, the active link in the left menu, links and the left menu background appear in your colors. Every team member sees the panel in these colors.
- If the plan goes back to Basic, the saved colors are not deleted but are not used; the chat screen returns to the default colors.
AI Receptionist Identity (Pro)#
The default assistant's name is Mira. To stand out from other Airoomier businesses in your area, you can give her your own name and photo. If you leave it blank, nothing changes.
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Assistant's Name | Optional, up to 40 characters. Guests see "Hi, I'm [name]". Defaults to "Mira" if left blank. | Selin |
| New Photo | Optional. PNG, JPG/JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB. Square photos work best. The box previews the current photo (or Mira's default photo if none); use Choose File to pick a new one. | A square portrait |
The name and photo are used in: the chat screen title ("Selin · Digital Receptionist"), the round photo on the welcome screen and the sentence "Hi, welcome! I'm Selin.", Mira's answer when a guest asks "Who are you?", the floating bubble icon on your website, and the name/icon of the home-screen shortcut a guest adds to their phone. If you upload a wrong format or a file larger than 2 MB, saving fails with an error.
Greeting Bubble (Pro)#
This is for your website: you customize the small bubble that appears above the chat icon when a visitor arrives on your site. It is the bubble shown before the chat is opened, and it is different from the welcome message shown once the chat is open (the next box).
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Title (bold line) | Up to 60 characters. The bold first line of the bubble. | Hi, I'm Selin! |
| Description | Up to 200 characters. The second line. | Feel free to ask me anything about your stay. |
| Title (bold line) and Description under Second Bubble (optional) | If filled in, the first bubble closes after a few seconds and the second one opens in its place; the two alternate (every 6 seconds) until the visitor closes the bubble or opens the chat. If you leave them completely empty, only the first bubble is shown. | 10% off early bookings! / Valid for bookings made this month, just ask. |
For fields you leave empty, the default bubble is used ("Hi, I'm Mira — your AI front desk! 👋 / Feel free to ask me anything about your stay."). If the title is empty only the title falls back to the default; if the description is empty only the description does. Your text is written in your content language and translated automatically into English/German/Russian; the visitor sees the version in the language of your site. The bubble appears about 1.5 seconds after the page opens and is shown once per page load; ✕ closes it, and clicking the bubble opens the chat.
Custom Welcome Message (Pro)#
You customize the welcome text in the middle of the screen that a guest sees when they first open the chat. It appears both on the Guest Link and in the widget on your website.
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Greeting title (bold line) | Up to 80 characters. If empty, "Hi, welcome! I'm {assistant name}." is used. If you fill it in, the assistant's name is not added automatically; only your text is shown. | Hi, I'm Selin! |
| Welcome message (subtitle) | Up to 300 characters. If empty, "Feel free to ask me anything about your stay at {business name} — I'll check availability and rates for you right away." is used. | Welcome to Blue Bay Hotel! Ask me anything about rooms, breakfast and the beach. |
The texts are written in your content language and translated into the other languages automatically. If there is no text in the selected language, the default sentence is shown for that language. Leaving both fields empty means "use the default texts".
Guided Suggestion Chips#
These are tappable example questions that a guest sees on the welcome screen before typing anything. A tapped question is sent as if the guest had typed it, and Mira answers.
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Counter (for example 1 / 3 suggestion chips) | Shows how many chips you use and your plan's limit. Basic: 3, Pro: 20. | |
| Show suggestion chips (+ the Save Changes button next to it) | If ticked, chips are shown to guests. If you untick it and save, no chips are shown at all (including the default example questions). | |
| Chip list and Delete | The chips you added are listed. Pressing Delete removes the chip immediately, without asking for confirmation. There is no chip editing: delete and add again. | |
| Add box and + Add | Required text. Placeholder: "e.g. What time is breakfast?". The text is translated into English/German/Russian immediately when you add it. | What time is check-in? |
When an add succeeds, you see "✓ Suggestion chip added and translated into English/German/Russian." If some languages failed, you see "✓ Suggestion chip added, but some translations failed. ..." and the chip's original text is shown in those languages. When the limit is reached, a warning and an Upgrade to Pro link replace the add box ("⚠️ On Basic, you can add up to 3 suggestion chips. Upgrade to Pro for more.").
If you add no chips (and Show suggestion chips is ticked), a generic default set is shown: Pet policy, Breakfast, Airport transfer. Chips appear only on the chat's first (empty) screen and disappear after the first message.
Direct Booking Banner#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Show the booking banner in the chat assistant | Default: on. When on, a banner reading "Book your stay directly" and a Reserve → button (Book Now → on a narrow screen) appears near the bottom when a guest starts chatting. The button opens the date-selection form; guests can dismiss the banner with ✕. When a guest enters the booking flow, the banner disappears by itself. If you turn it off, the banner is never shown; Mira still answers booking questions in text. |
Domain Security#
The code you add to your website is public: someone can copy it from your site's source and paste it into their own site, using your assistant (and your monthly AI conversation quota) on their site. This box makes sure the chat opens only on the domains you list. It is off by default and works the same way on Basic and Pro.
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Enable domain security | Optional checkbox. When off (default), the widget works on any site. When on, the chat only opens when it is embedded in pages on the domains in the list below. | |
| Allowed domains | A multi-line text box. Write one domain per line (separating with commas is also accepted). Placeholder: example.com / www.example.com. |
bluebayhotel.com |
When you fill in the box and press Save Changes, what you typed is cleaned up and saved by these rules. After saving, the box shows the saved version; if a line has disappeared, it was considered invalid.
| You type | Saved as | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
https://www.BlueBayHotel.com/en/rooms |
bluebayhotel.com |
http:///https://, the path, anything after ?, a leading www. and capital letters are removed automatically. |
bluebayhotel.com |
bluebayhotel.com |
A root domain; it also covers all subdomains such as www.bluebayhotel.com and booking.bluebayhotel.com. |
booking.bluebayhotel.com |
booking.bluebayhotel.com |
Only this subdomain (and anything below it) is allowed; bluebayhotel.com itself is not allowed. |
localhost:3000 |
localhost |
The port number is removed and ignored when matching. You can add localhost for a developer testing your site on their own computer. |
*.bluebayhotel.com |
(not saved) | Wildcards (*) are not supported; writing the root domain already covers all subdomains. |
çekirdeksizmandalin.com |
(not saved) | Only English letters, digits, dots and hyphens are accepted. If your domain contains non-English characters (such as Turkish letters), write its equivalent that starts with xn-- (punycode); your domain provider or a conversion tool can give you this. |
If you type the same domain twice, it is stored once.
How does it work? When a visitor clicks the chat bubble on your site, the chat opens inside a window (iframe), and the browser passes on which site opened it. If that site is not in the list, the chat does not open. On a blocked site the visitor sees this: the bubble and greeting bubble still appear, but when the bubble is clicked, the panel that opens shows a dark box with the heading "Bu site için yetkilendirilmemiş" and the sentence "Bu AI asistanı bu alan adında kullanıma açık değil." ("Not authorized for this site" / "This AI assistant is not available on this domain") instead of the chat. This message is shown in Turkish regardless of the visitor's language.
The following are not affected by this setting:
- The Guest Link and room QR codes always work when opened directly, for example from WhatsApp, SMS, by scanning a QR code or by typing the address.
- The Live Preview on this page and the Open in new tab ↗ preview always work (because they open from Airoomier's own address).
Pricing Visibility#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Ask for the guest's phone number before showing the price | Default: off (prices are always shown directly). When on, if a guest searches availability, a 🎁 Members-Only Offer card appears instead of the price: it asks for Full name and Your phone number, and the button is Show my price. Once a valid number is entered, the price appears immediately in the same chat and the number is saved to you as a lead. With an invalid number, "Please enter a valid phone number." appears. |
While this setting is on, Mira's plain-text answers also contain no numeric prices; the price stays hidden (a "Price hidden" label) and the system never gives the price figures to the AI until a number is shared. After a number is shared, prices appear normally both on cards and in written answers.
Airoomier Branding#
An information-only box. The "Powered by Airoomier · Verified Business Information" line at the bottom of the chat screen is currently shown on both the Basic and Pro plans and cannot be removed.
Priced calendar (guest side)#
This box has no settings; it is for information only. When a guest taps the check-in or check-out field in the Select your stay form in the chat, a calendar opens:
- Under each day, the lowest nightly price among the room types available that night is shown (calculated from the rate plans in Room Types).
- Days that get a last-minute or early booking discount from Pricing Rules are marked with a turquoise price and a small dot.
- Days on which all types are fully booked are struck through and cannot be selected as the check-in date. The check-out date cannot be set beyond the first fully booked night after check-in.
- The guest first taps the check-in day, then the check-out day; the calendar closes and the dates are filled into the form.
- If Pricing Visibility is on and the guest has not yet shared their phone number, the calendar shows no prices, only the available days.
- The calendar takes the number of guests selected into account: types without enough capacity are not counted.
What happens next#
- When you save a box, the page reloads and the Live Preview reloads with the latest data.
- In the chat on the Guest Link (welcome screen, assistant name/photo, chips, banner, price lock) changes show immediately.
- In the widget embedded on your website, changes to the position, bubble and assistant icon reach visitors in about 1 minute at most. If your site has a caching plugin/CDN, it can delay things for as long as it keeps the code.
- Domain Security changes take effect the next time a visitor opens the chat panel on your site; you do not need to change the code on your site.
- If you move from Pro to Basic, the texts you wrote in the Pro boxes are not deleted but are not shown to guests; the defaults appear instead. They come back when you return to Pro.
Tips and common mistakes#
- Save boxes one at a time: saving a box reloads the page; unsaved text in other boxes is lost.
- Write in your content language: write the welcome message, bubble and chip texts in the Content language set in Business Info; the other languages are translated automatically.
- Do not write long texts: when the limits (40, 60, 80, 200, 300 characters) are exceeded, the extra is silently cut off.
- Bubble and assistant photo not showing on your site? You need the Pro plan, saved content, and no
data-positionin the code on your site. See Installing on Your Website and Guest Link. - Chat not opening on your site after turning on Domain Security? Check that your site's domain is in the list and spelled correctly (look at the saved version). If you also publish your site at another address (for example a separate booking domain or a temporary test address), add that domain too. Details: Installing on Your Website and Guest Link.
- Chip limit reached? You can delete an old one and add a new one, or upgrade to Pro.
- In-room use: to link a guest's chat to a specific room, use the room QR; see Room Types and Guest Requests.
