The Dashboard is the daily summary screen you see first every time you enter the panel: today's occupancy, conversations, this month's bookings and collections, how much of the work Mira has taken on, occupancy for the next 14 days, items that need your attention and the guests arriving and departing today. On this page you will find what each card means and how each number is calculated.
What is on the screen#
On desktop the page has two columns: a wide main area on the left and a narrow side column on the right. From top to bottom:
- Greeting line: "Good morning, (your name)", today's date and a short summary sentence; on the right, the Open calendar and + New booking buttons.
- Four summary cards: Occupancy today, Conversations today, Bookings this month, Collected this month.
- The Mira performance, Occupancy · next 14 days and Needs attention cards.
- Today: arrivals and departures.
- The Guest requests table.
- The Recent Conversations list.
- In the right column, Recent activity, Upcoming arrivals and a mini calendar of this month.
On phones and tablets the right column moves below the main area and the cards line up in a single column.
On a freshly opened account the counters show 0 and the lists show empty-state messages such as "No arrivals today." and "No open requests."; this is normal.
Greeting line#
- Greeting: Good morning before 12:00, Good afternoon until 18:00, then Good evening; followed by the first word of your name. If your account has no name, it just says Hello. The time is based on Istanbul time.
- Logo: If you uploaded a logo in Business Info, it appears in a small box to the left of the greeting (on wide screens only).
- Summary sentence: For example "Today: 3 arrivals, 2 departures and 1 open guest request."
- Open calendar opens the Calendar page; + New booking opens the form for adding a booking by hand (Bookings).
The four summary cards#
| Card | Text underneath | What it shows | Click opens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Occupancy today | "(occupied) of (total) units" | The share (%) of units occupied today out of the total number of physical units. | Calendar |
| Conversations today | "Mira sent N replies today" | The number of conversations whose last message was sent today (since 00:00). The number underneath is the number of messages Mira sent today. | Conversations |
| Bookings this month | "Last month: N" | All bookings created since the 1st of the month (including cancelled and pending ones). Underneath, the same number for last month. | Bookings |
| Collected this month | "Outstanding: amount" | Completed payments recorded this month minus this month's refunds. Underneath, the total amount not yet collected on non-cancelled bookings. | Finance |
How is occupancy counted? Every non-cancelled booking (including Pending) counts one unit as occupied on each day it covers; the booking does not need to be assigned to a unit. The check-in day counts as occupied, the check-out day as empty. If you have no physical units at all, the card tells you underneath that you need to add units.
Mira performance#
This card shows how much of the work the AI has taken on this month.
- Ring chart and percentage (handled by AI): The percentage of conversations with at least one message activity this month in which Mira gave at least one reply.
- The sentence "This month Mira replied in M of N conversations." gives the numbers behind the percentage.
- The line "(amount) saved · (hours) h staff time" turns the conversations Mira answered into estimated time and money.
How the savings are calculated#
- Conversation count: The conversations in which Mira wrote at least one message this month are counted.
- Time: Each conversation is assumed to occupy an employee for an average of 4 minutes. Time = conversation count × 4 minutes. Hours = minutes / 60.
- Money: Savings = hours × hourly labor cost.
Adjusting the hourly labor cost#
- Go to Business Info from the left menu.
- Find the Regional Settings section (the one with the Default Language, Currency and Timezone fields).
- In Estimated Hourly Labor Cost (TRY), type roughly what you pay for one hour of an employee's time. Your selected currency appears in parentheses.
- Press the Save Changes button.
- Go back to the Dashboard; the savings on the Mira performance card are calculated with the new value.
| Field | Required? | What it does | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Estimated Hourly Labor Cost | Optional | Used as the cost per hour in the savings estimate. | Enter a whole number (the decimal part is dropped). A negative value becomes 0. If you leave it empty, a default for your currency is used. If you enter 0, the savings show 0. |
The default hourly costs used when you leave it empty are as follows (rough starting values, not exact industry statistics):
| Currency | Default hourly cost |
|---|---|
| TRY | 150 |
| EUR | 20 |
| USD | 20 |
| GBP | 17 |
| RUB | 600 |
| SAR | 30 |
| AED | 30 |
| GEL | 18 |
For a currency not on the list, 150 is used.
Example#
At the 12-tent Vadi Camp, the AI answered 60 conversations this month. The hourly cost was left empty and the currency is TRY:
- 60 × 4 minutes = 240 minutes = 4 hours
- 4 hours × 150 TRY = 600 TRY
The card says 600 TRY saved · 4 h staff time. If the owner enters a real hourly cost of 200 TRY, the same line shows 800 TRY saved.
Occupancy · next 14 days#
Shows the occupancy rate for the 14 days starting today as vertical bars. Today's bar is dark blue and the other days are light blue; the day of the month is written under the bars. When you hover over a bar, the date and percentage appear. The calculation is the same as the Occupancy today card. The All → link at the top right opens the Calendar page, where you find the unit-by-unit details.
Needs attention#
A summary of the things you should look at right away. The large number at the top of the card is the sum of Requests past SLA and Bookings awaiting confirmation. If this sum is zero, the card turns green and says "Nothing urgent right now."; if it is greater than zero, it turns red.
Underneath there are four rows; each one opens the related page:
| Row | What it counts | Page it opens |
|---|---|---|
| Requests past SLA | Guest requests in New, Assigned or In Progress status whose target resolution time has passed. | Guest Requests |
| Open guest requests | All requests in New, Assigned, In Progress or Waiting on Guest status. | Guest Requests |
| Bookings awaiting confirmation | Bookings in Pending status. | Bookings |
| Open conversations | All conversations that are currently open. | Conversations |
Today: arrivals and departures#
Two lists side by side: Arrivals (check-in date is today) and Departures (check-out date is today), for non-cancelled bookings. The number of records is shown next to the heading; each list shows at most 8 records. Each row has the guest's name, the room type, the unit number (if assigned) and a status badge. Click a row to open the booking details. All → goes to the Bookings page.
Guest requests#
Shows the 5 newest open guest requests as a table. The total number of open requests is shown next to the heading. Columns: Request (type and description), Room, Assignee (— if unassigned) and a Status badge (New, Assigned, In Progress, Waiting on Guest). Click a row or the Go to board → link to open the Guest Requests board. If there are no open requests, it says "No open requests."
Recent Conversations#
The last 5 conversations are listed, starting with the one that received the most recent message. Each row has the guest's name (Unnamed Guest if there is no name), the beginning of the last message in quotes and a status label on the right:
- AI replied: the last message is from the AI.
- Waiting: the last message is not from the AI (it is from the guest or a staff member). Usually this means the guest's message is waiting for a reply.
Click a row to open the conversation; All → goes to the Conversations page.
Right column#
- Recent activity: The most recently created bookings (New booking) and the most recently recorded payments (Payment received, Refund), newest first, at most 6 rows.
- Upcoming arrivals: The first 5 bookings with a check-in within the next 14 days, starting tomorrow. Click one to open the booking details.
- Mini calendar: This month's calendar; today is highlighted, and days with a check-in in the next 14 days are written in bold inside a light blue circle (the caption underneath: Days with arrivals).
How to use this screen every day#
- In the morning, look at the Needs attention card. If it is red, first open the requests past SLA and the bookings awaiting confirmation.
- In the Today section, check the guests arriving and leaving; assign units to arrivals without one on the Bookings page.
- In Recent Conversations, review the rows labelled Waiting.
- Once a week, look at the Mira performance card; if the rate is low, fill in the missing topics on the Chat Quality and Knowledge Base pages.
Tips and common mistakes#
- Occupancy shows 0% but I have a booking: The booking may have been cancelled, or it may not cover today (the check-out day does not count as occupied). If you have no physical units at all, the percentage cannot be calculated; add units on the Room Types page.
- The savings amount looks too low/high: If the hourly cost is empty, a rough default is being used. Enter your real cost in Business Info.
- Today's numbers are zero but there were lots of chats yesterday: Today's counters start from zero at 00:00. You can see the breakdown for earlier days with the date filter on the Conversations page.
- The bookings this month number is higher than my confirmed booking quota: This is normal. This card also counts cancelled and pending bookings; the plan quota only counts bookings in Confirmed status (Account and Plans).
- I cannot see a missing-information warning on the Dashboard: This screen has no missing-information warning. You can see the topics the AI could not answer in the Missing Topics section of the Info Center → Knowledge Base page (Knowledge Base).
