Facilities is the list of ready-made amenities your business offers (or does not offer): Wi-Fi, pool, parking, children's play area, sauna and so on. When a guest asks "Is there a pool?", Mira looks at this list and answers with exactly what you wrote, without making anything up. This page is the first sub-tab of the Info Center item in the left menu; the second sub-tab is the Knowledge Base.
What is on the screen#
When you open Info Center from the left menu, you see the label INFO CENTER at the top of the page and two large side-by-side boxes: Facilities and Knowledge Base. The box for the page you are on is highlighted. The same two pages are also listed in the sub-menu that opens under Info Center in the left menu.
Below those boxes, from top to bottom:
- Title and description. The heading "Facilities" and the sentence "Add your amenities like Wi-Fi, pool, or parking one by one here. Each row is saved separately."
- Yellow note box. It reminds you that check-in/out, breakfast, pets, cancellation policy and transfer have their own fields on the Business Info page, that those fields take priority, and that you should only add extra amenities here that those fields do not cover.
- New Facility card. At the top, a separate card labelled ADD FACILITY with the form for adding a new facility and a short description.
- Facility cards. Every facility you add appears as its own card. The cards start closed; only the facility name and an arrow on the right are shown. Click the heading to open the card and reveal the edit fields. They are listed in the order you added them (oldest on top).
On desktop, there is an On this page menu on the left: + Add new at the top, and the names of your facilities below it. Click a name and the page scrolls to that card and opens it. If you have more than 10 facilities, a search box appears at the top of the menu (Panel Overview).
If you have not added anything yet, you see No facilities added yet. instead of the list.
When you open a facility card, it has these fields:
- Photo (cover photo): a small preview. If there is none, a dashed box says No photo. Under it are a file picker and, if a photo exists, a Remove photo checkbox.
- Title: the facility name. Under it is a collapsible Translations section.
- Available checkbox: is the facility currently offered?
- Description: a multi-line box you can resize.
- A one-line box for synonyms, with a short hint underneath.
- Save (amber) and Delete (red) buttons.
- Below the row, an Additional Photos section: thumbnails of uploaded extra photos, a file picker and an Add Photos button.
Step by step: Adding a new facility#
Example scenario: you run "Garden Camp", a campsite with 12 tents. Guests often ask about the pool, Wi-Fi and the barbecue area. Let's add the pool first.
- From the left menu, go to Info Center → Facilities.
- Use the New Facility card at the top of the page (or click + Add new in the On this page menu on the left).
- In the first box, type the facility name. Example:
Pool. This box is required; if you leave it empty nothing is saved and you get an error saying the facility name is required ("Olanak adı zorunludur."). - Optionally, choose a cover photo with the file picker below it (PNG, JPG/JPEG or WebP; at most 2 MB).
- The Available checkbox is ticked by default. Untick it if the facility is not in service right now.
- In the description box, write what guests should be told. Example:
Open, 09:00-19:00, children's pool available. Free. - In the synonyms box, list other phrases guests might use for the same thing, separated by commas. Example:
swimming pool, outdoor pool, kids pool. - Press + Add. The facility is added to the end of the list.
As soon as you add it, the name and description are automatically translated into the other languages (Turkish, English, German, Russian). Translation can take a few seconds.
Field by field#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Title | The facility name. Mira matches this name with the guest's message and uses it in the answer. Required. | Pool, Wi-Fi, Parking |
| Available | If ticked, Mira says "Yes, … is available."; if not, "… is not available." | Default for a new facility: ticked |
| Description | The detail shown to the guest: hours, price, rules. Optional. You can write several lines. | Open, 08:00-20:00, free |
| Synonyms | Other phrases guests may use for the same facility, separated by commas. Optional. | kids club, children's play area, play area |
| Photo | The facility's cover photo. It is shown first together with the answer. | PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP; at most 2 MB |
| Remove photo | Tick it and press Save to delete the cover photo (if you did not choose a new file). | Only visible when a photo exists |
| Additional Photos | Extra pictures shown next to the cover photo; you can select several files at once. | At most 2 MB each |
| Translations | The name and description in the other languages. Generated automatically; you can correct them by hand. | See the section below |
On this page the facility name and description are always written in your business's content language (Turkish by default). You choose the content language on the Business Info page. The panel language and the language Mira speaks with guests are separate settings; neither of them changes the language you write in here.
How to write synonyms#
A guest may say "kids club" instead of "mini club", or "children's play area". Instead of creating a separate facility for each phrase, list them all in the synonyms box of one record. Mira treats the name and the synonyms with equal weight.
Things to watch out for:
- Avoid very generic, short single-word phrases (for example just
castle). Such a phrase is not enough on its own: Mira only picks that facility if the message also contains an interest signal (a price question, "is there", "booking" and similar). Write a more specific phrase such as "castle tour". (The facility's own name is not affected by this rule; you may name a facility something short likeSpa.) - Do not put the same phrase in the synonyms of two different facilities. If both match, Mira does not pick one at random; it asks the guest "I'm not quite sure which one you mean. We have … — which one would you like to know about?"
- Write synonyms in the same language as the name. Mira first matches the message as the guest wrote it, and if nothing is found, its Turkish translation.
- The phrase you write as a synonym is also used in Mira's answer sentence. If a guest says "children's play area", the Turkish answer starts like "…çocuk oyun alanı mevcuttur." So prefer natural noun phrases.
Translations#
The name and description of every facility are automatically translated into the three languages other than your content language. When you open the Translations toggle in a row, you see the language boxes (TR, EN, DE, RU) and a badge for each:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Automatic | The translation was generated by the system; it is regenerated when the original text changes. |
| Edited manually | You corrected this translation. It is never overwritten, even when the original changes. |
| ⚠ Source changed | The original text changed after you hand-edited this translation; please review it. The section opens by itself in this case. |
| Not translated yet | No translation could be produced yet. |
If you edit a translation box and press Save, that language becomes Edited manually. For a hand-edited language you get two options:
- Switch back to automatic translation: tick it and save, and the translation is regenerated automatically.
- Translation is up to date, dismiss warning (shown while a warning is active): you checked the translation and it is correct; the warning disappears.
Emptying a translation box completely and saving also returns that language to automatic. If a translation cannot be produced (for example the translation service does not respond at that moment), the box stays empty; when a guest asks in that language, the system tries to translate again on the spot. If that fails, Mira says it has no verified information in that language.
How Mira uses facilities#
Mira first compares the guest's message with the fixed fields on Business Info (check-in/out, breakfast, pets, cancellation, transfer, room count). If those do not answer it, she checks Facilities; after that come Extra Services, guest requests, the booking flow and then the Knowledge Base. So if a topic exists both here and in the Knowledge Base, this page wins; the Knowledge Base record is never shown. For the full picture see How Mira Works.
Matching works like this:
- Exact match: if the guest's message contains the facility's name or one of its synonyms as-is, that facility is chosen.
- Word match: if there is no exact match, words of 4 or more letters in the message are compared with the words in the facility's name and synonyms; the facility with the most words in common is chosen. Matches based only on short, generic words (exactly 4 letters) are ignored unless the message also contains an interest signal. English, German and Russian questions can also match Turkish names through common known words (for example "pool" with
Havuz). - Ambiguity: if several facilities match with the same score, Mira asks which one the guest means.
When the answer is prepared:
- If Available is ticked: a sentence like "Yes, pool is available at Garden Camp." followed by your description.
- If Available is not ticked: "pool is not available at Garden Camp." Your description is still shown, so you can write a note such as "Opening soon."
- If your description contains several pieces of information (separated by line breaks, semicolons or sentence ends), Mira shows them as bullets. A single piece of information is added as a plain sentence. Short lines or short items separated by semicolons make the answer easier to read.
- Mira closes with "Please let me know if you have any other questions."
- If a guest asks a general list question such as "What facilities do you have?", Mira lists all facilities with their Available / Not available status and descriptions.
- If the guest asks in English, German or Russian, Mira uses the translated name and description for that language.
- When a single facility matches and Available is ticked, the cover photo and the additional photos are shown with the answer (cover first, then the extras). If it is not available, no photo is shown.
The names of available facilities can also appear in the widget as "quick info" suggestions after a booking; clicking one sends the facility name as a message and triggers the flow above.
If you have not added any facility, this step is skipped and the question falls through to the other sources (Knowledge Base and so on).
Adding and removing photos#
- Cover photo: choose a new file with the picker in the row and press Save. The old cover photo is deleted automatically and replaced. To remove the cover photo completely, tick Remove photo and press Save.
- Additional photos: in the Additional Photos section under the row, choose one or several photos and press Add Photos. This works independently of the row's Save button.
- Deleting an additional photo: hover over the thumbnail; a red × appears in its top-right corner. Click it and the photo is deleted immediately.
- Size and type: each file must be at most 2 MB; only PNG, JPG/JPEG and WebP are accepted. As soon as you pick files, those over 2 MB are removed from the selection and a warning "{file name} is too large (max 2 MB), removed from the selection." appears. If you upload another file type, the server returns the error "Fotoğraf yalnızca PNG, JPG/JPEG veya WebP olabilir." (photos may only be PNG, JPG/JPEG or WebP).
Saving and deleting#
- Save: saves the changes to the row's name, Available, description, synonyms, translations and cover photo. When it succeeds, a confirmation "✓ Business info updated successfully." appears at the top of the page (the wording is generic because facilities are treated as part of the business info). If the name box is empty you get the error "Olanak adı zorunludur." (facility name is required).
- Delete: permanently deletes the facility, its cover photo and all its additional photos. There is no confirmation and it cannot be undone.
- Add: creates a new row; no confirmation message appears, the row simply shows up in the list.
There is no plan limit on the number of facilities.
What happens next#
- The record is reflected in Mira's answers immediately; there is no separate publishing step.
- If a guest question that Mira could not answer lands in the Missing Topics list of the Knowledge Base, and the topic is already covered by a facility, you will see a warning there telling you to update the facility's note instead.
- If a Knowledge Base record's title matches a facility, that record shows a "currently NOT USED" warning, because the facility always takes priority.
Tips and common mistakes#
- Do not write the same topic in two places. Use Business Info for breakfast, check-in/out, pets, cancellation and transfer. Use this page for the rest: pool, parking, Wi-Fi, sauna. For paid things you sell separately, such as excursions and boat tours, there is the Extra Services page.
- Name each facility short and clear:
Pool,Wi-Fi,Parking,Kids Club. Long, fancy names make it harder to match the guest's message. - Put the first things a guest will ask in the description: hours, price, age limit, rules. Example:
Open, 09:00-19:00; free; under 12 with an adult. - Do not skip synonyms. Guests ask with their own words, not with the name you chose.
- Do not delete a temporarily closed facility: untick Available and write a note such as "Closed for the season, opens in June." in the description. Mira says it is not available and shows the note too.
- Remember to save the row. If you edited translations, the same Save button is used.
- Keep photos small: there is a 2 MB limit; you may need to shrink phone photos before uploading.
- A facility without a photo still gets answered; photos are optional.
