Bookings

Last updated: 6 October 2026

The Bookings tab is the single list of all your business's bookings: the requests guests leave through Mira (the AI receptionist) and the bookings you take by phone, from a channel such as Booking.com or at the front desk and enter manually in the panel. You see each new request here, call the guest to confirm, press Confirm Booking, assign the physical unit (tent, bungalow, room number), mark which channel the booking came from and record payments.

What is on the screen#

When you open Bookings from the menu you see, from top to bottom, the following. To the right of the page title there is an orange + New Booking button; it opens the form for entering a booking manually.

Summary cards#

Four cards sit under the page title:

Card What it shows
Total bookings The number of all records so far (cancelled ones included).
Confirmed The number of records with the status Confirmed (all time).
Pending The number of records with the status Pending. These are the requests waiting for you to act.
Reservation revenue The total amount of all bookings except cancelled ones. If there are cancellations, Cancelled: and the count appear underneath.

The amount on the revenue card is shown in the default currency from your business info. It is the total value of the reservations, not money that has already come in. For actual collections see the Finance page.

Confirmed Bookings This Month (plan quota)#

Under the cards there is a strip titled Confirmed Bookings This Month showing a number such as 3 / 10. The left number is how many bookings you confirmed this month, the right number is your plan's monthly limit:

Plan Monthly confirmed-booking limit
Basic (free) 10
Pro 100
  • When you reach 80% of the limit the strip turns yellow and shows You've reached 80% of your monthly confirmed-booking quota.
  • When you reach the limit the strip turns red and shows You've reached this month's confirmed-booking limit.
  • On the Basic plan an Upgrade to Pro link appears next to the message. See Account and Plans for plans.

The count follows the calendar month (it starts on the 1st at 00:00). It includes bookings created this month that are currently in the Confirmed status. If you change a booking to Completed, No-show or Cancelled, it drops out of the counter.

Booking list#

Under Booking list, all records are sorted with the newest booking first (sorting follows the time the record was created). To the right of the heading there is a Channel filter (see below). The list has no search box or paging; every record that matches the filter comes in one list. A table is used on wide screens and cards on phones.

Column Contents
Booking The booking number (e.g. BK-7KX3MA) and the date and time it was created. Click the number to open the booking detail.
Guest The guest's name and phone. If there is no name it says Unnamed Guest, and if there is no phone, No phone.
Room Type The booking's room type (e.g. Bungalow). If the type was deleted it says Room type not specified.
Stay Check-in → check-out date (dd.mm.yyyy).
Guests The total number of guests.
Amount The booking's total price and currency.
Source The channel the booking came from, as a colored badge (e.g. Phone, Booking.com). See Booking sources (channels).
Status A colored badge (see the table below).

In the card view on phones, the source badge sits right under the status badge.

When there is nothing yet you see No bookings yet and "Reservations created via the AI will appear here." The same message also appears when you apply a channel filter and that channel has no bookings; it does not mean you have no bookings at all. Switch the filter back to All Channels and press Filter.

Channel filter#

To the right of the list heading there is a drop-down called Channel and a Filter button.

  1. Choose a channel from the drop-down: All Channels (default), Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Phone, Direct / Web or Other.
  2. Press Filter. The page reloads and the list shows only bookings from that channel.

The filter is added to the page address (e.g. /bookings?source=PHONE). If you bookmark that address, the page opens already filtered. To remove the filter, choose All Channels and press Filter again.

The filter also affects the summary cards (see the note above). The Unfinished Reservation Requests section and the monthly quota strip are not affected by the filter.

Booking sources (channels)#

Every booking has a source: the channel it came from. The source is only for tracking and reporting; it does not change the price, availability or Mira's behavior. There are six channels:

Channel (badge) When to use it Where it comes from by default
Booking.com A booking that came from Booking.com. You choose it when entering manually.
Airbnb A booking that came from Airbnb. You choose it when entering manually.
Expedia A booking that came from Expedia. You choose it when entering manually.
Phone The guest called you to book. The default option in the + New Booking form.
Direct / Web Your business's own website or direct channel. Every booking created through Mira's chat widget is written to this channel automatically.
Other Anything that does not fit the above (e.g. an agency, a walk-in guest). You choose it when entering manually.

You can see the revenue and count breakdown by channel in the Channel Breakdown section of the Finance page.

Booking statuses#

Status (badge) Meaning Does it block availability?
Pending The guest left a request and you have not confirmed it yet. Yes
Confirmed You confirmed it. Yes
Completed The stay took place. No
No-show The guest never arrived. No
Cancelled The booking was cancelled. No

The "blocks availability" column matters: even a request in Pending holds one unit of that room type for those dates. That means Mira will not sell the same unit to another guest. If you cancel a request, the unit is released for sale again.

Unfinished Reservation Requests#

Under the list card, a second section with a yellow border appears only when there is something to show: Unfinished Reservation Requests. It lists guests who picked a room and received an offer but left the chat without confirming in time. Its purpose is to show you opportunities that are about to be lost.

Each row shows the guest's name, phone, room type, dates, the offer amount and Offer expired: with a date and time. Click a row to open that guest's conversation. You can call the number and ask, "Would you like to complete your reservation?" The last 25 records are shown, with the most recently expired one first.

How a booking is created#

A booking is created in one of two ways:

  • The guest leaves a request with Mira through the chat widget. Its source is automatically Direct / Web. This section describes this path.
  • You enter it manually in the panel (+ New Booking). You choose its source. This path is described in the next section, Step by step: Add a booking manually.

In both cases the booking is created as Pending and goes through the same availability and price checks. Knowing the process makes it easier to read what you see in the panel.

The guest's side#

  1. The guest opens the chat widget on your site. If the widget shows the Book your stay directly banner with a Reserve button they can click it; or they can simply type dates and the number of people to Mira.
  2. Mira asks for dates and the number of guests (adults, children). The guest picks the check-in and check-out dates.
  3. Mira shows the room types available on those dates as cards. The cards show the nightly price, the total price and how many units are left. If a room type has more than one board basis defined (e.g. Room Only and Bed & Breakfast), options appear on the card, each with its own price.
  4. The guest clicks Select and the Guest details window opens:
Field Required? Rule
Full name Yes Cannot be empty.
Phone Yes Must be a valid international phone number (e.g. +90 555 123 45 67). The system stores it in standard format (+905551234567). If it is invalid, "Please enter a valid phone number." appears.
Email Yes Must look like name@domain.com. It is required so a confirmation email can be sent to the guest.
Special request note No Free text, up to 2000 characters.
Personal data consent Yes The Continue button does not work until "I consent to my personal data being processed for this reservation." is ticked. The server checks this separately as well.
  1. When the guest presses Continue, the system creates a reservation offer (a "booking request" record behind the scenes). At this point it re-verifies the following: are the dates valid, does the guest count exceed the room type's capacity, is the unit still available, can the price be verified. If one fails, the guest sees an error message (e.g. "The room type you selected is no longer available for these dates. Please check again.").
  2. The Booking summary screen opens: stay dates, number of guests (adults/children) and the total amount. The guest can press Back to fix details or press Confirm reservation.
  3. The offer is valid for 15 minutes. At the moment of confirmation the system checks once more that the room is still active and available and that the price has not changed. If the time has run out, the guest is told "There is no active reservation offer, or the offer has expired. Please provide your dates again." If the price changed in the meantime, they are told the reservation price has changed.
  4. If everything is fine, the guest sees a message like: "Your reservation request has been received! … Your request number is: BK-XXXXXX. Our hotel will call you shortly to confirm availability and payment."

If the guest creates a new offer in the same conversation, the earlier pending offer is cancelled automatically. So a conversation has only one valid offer at a time.

Turning the direct-booking banner on or off#

You manage the Book your stay directly banner shown in the widget from the panel: in Widget → Direct Booking Banner there is a checkbox Show the booking banner in the chat assistant. It is on by default. After changing it press Save Changes.

  • While on, a short booking banner is shown to guests when they start chatting, and they can dismiss it themselves.
  • If you turn it off, the banner is never shown. This only affects the banner; Mira still answers booking questions and the booking flow keeps working when a guest types dates.

See the Widget page for widget settings.

Your side#

The moment the guest confirms:

  • A Yeni rezervasyon talebi (onay bekliyor): BK-XXXXXX notification appears on the bell icon in the panel (this notification text is always in Turkish). Clicking it takes you to the Bookings page.
  • The same notification is emailed to team members who have turned on New booking requests under Settings → Notifications (by default only the Full access user) (Account and Plans).
  • If the guest entered an email address, a confirmation email titled Your reservation request has been received is sent to them. The email goes out in the language the guest used in the chat (TR/EN/DE/RU).
  • The request shows as Pending in the list and in the Calendar, with a Direct / Web badge in the Source column.

The booking's note is filled in automatically with "Created through AI." If the guest wrote a special request, it is added below with the Guest note: label. This note text is written in the guest's chat language.

Step by step: Add a booking manually#

You use this form to enter a guest who called you, a booking from Booking.com or Airbnb, or a walk-in guest. The form uses the same booking engine as Mira: the price is calculated from your price plans, availability is checked, a booking number (BK-XXXXXX) is generated and a notification is sent. This feature works the same way on the Basic and Pro plans.

Opening the form#

  1. Open Bookings from the menu.
  2. Press the + New Booking button at the top right.
  3. The New Booking page opens. Under the title it says "Manually enter a reservation received by phone or another channel." The ← Back to Bookings link at the top takes you back to the list.

If you do not have any active room type yet, you see a yellow warning instead of the form: "No active room type has been defined yet. Add a room from the Room Types screen first." In that case, first add a type on the Room Types page and make it active.

The form has two boxes: Guest Information and Stay Details. At the bottom left there is the note "Name/phone, room type, and dates are required.", and at the bottom right the orange Create Booking button.

Guest Information#

Field Required? What it does / Note
Full Name At least one of name or phone is required The guest's name. If left empty, the list shows Unnamed Guest.
Phone At least one of name or phone is required Example format: +1 555 123 4567. The number is saved exactly as you type it (it is not reformatted automatically as in the chat form).
Email (optional) No If you fill it in, the browser checks the name@domain.com format. If you fill it in, an automatic email goes to the guest (see below).

Under the box there is this note: "If a guest is already registered with this phone number, they'll be matched automatically." This means:

  • If the phone number you type is exactly the same as the number of a guest already saved in the system, no new guest record is created; the booking is linked to that guest. If that guest record has an empty name or email, it is filled with what you typed in the form. Fields that are already filled are not changed.
  • If there is no match, a new guest record is created with the form details.

Stay Details#

Field Required? What it does / Note
Room Type Yes Only active room types are listed, in your order from the Room Types page. Each row shows the type name and its capacity (e.g. Bungalow — 4). The first type in the list is preselected.
Check-in Date Yes Picked from the calendar. If left empty, the browser does not submit the form.
Check-out Date Yes Must be after the check-in date.
Number of Guests Yes (default 1) At least 1. Cannot exceed the room type's capacity. There is no adults/children split in this form; the detail page only shows "N guests".
Board Basis Yes (default Room Only) Room Only, Bed & Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board, All Inclusive, Ultra All Inclusive. The price is calculated from the price plan with the board basis you choose.
Booking Source Yes (default Phone) Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Phone, Direct / Web, Other. Can be changed later on the detail page.
Note (optional) No "Any special request or note". The text you write is saved as is in the booking's Note box.

When you press Create Booking#

The system checks the following, in order:

  1. Is at least one of name or phone filled in?
  2. Is a room type selected, and is it still active?
  3. Are the check-in and check-out dates filled in, and is check-in before check-out?
  4. Does the number of guests exceed the room type's capacity?
  5. In the board basis you chose, is there a valid price plan for every night of the stay? If the plans in the stay period are in different currencies, the total cannot be calculated.
  6. Availability: Is the number of active physical units of that room type greater than the number of Pending and Confirmed bookings that overlap the same dates? At least one unit must remain free. A type with no active units is always treated as "not available".

If everything passes:

  • The booking is created as Pending, with the source you chose.
  • You are taken straight to the new booking's detail page. From there you can record a payment right away, assign a unit and press Confirm Booking.
  • The same Yeni rezervasyon talebi (onay bekliyor): BK-XXXXXX notification as for Mira's requests appears on the bell icon (this text is always in Turkish), and the same notification is emailed to team members who have turned on New booking requests (by default only the Full access user).
  • If the guest record has an email address, an automatic email titled Rezervasyon talebiniz alındı ("Your reservation request has been received") is sent to the guest. For manually entered bookings this email always goes out in Turkish.
  • The list, Calendar and Finance pages show the new record right away.

If one of the checks fails, the booking is not created and an error screen titled Bir şeyler ters gitti ("Something went wrong") opens. This screen does not always state the detailed reason; often you see a general message ("Bir hata oluştu — girdiğiniz bir değer geçersiz olabilir…", meaning an entered value may be invalid). This screen is in Turkish regardless of the panel language. Use the Tekrar Dene ("Try again") button to go back to the form; the details you entered may have been cleared. Before trying again, check these possible causes:

Possible cause What to do
Both name and phone are empty Fill in at least one.
The check-out date is the same as or before the check-in date Fix the dates.
The number of guests exceeds the type's capacity Choose a larger room type or enter two separate bookings.
There is no price plan for those dates in the selected board basis Choose the right board basis (e.g. if the type only has a Bed & Breakfast price, the default Room Only will not save) or add the price plan.
The type is full on those dates or has no active units Check occupancy on the Calendar page; choose another type if needed, or add units on the Room Types page.

Step by step: Confirm an incoming request#

  1. Click the bell notification or open Bookings in the menu.
  2. Click the Booking number of the row with the Pending badge.
  3. On the detail page, check the guest's details, dates, room type, board basis and amount. If the guest left a special request, read it in the Note box.
  4. If needed, open the chat with Mira using the View Conversation button at the top of the page.
  5. Call the guest to confirm dates and how they will pay.
  6. If you took a deposit, record it in the Payment Information section below (see the Recording payments section below).
  7. If you will assign a unit, pick it in the Physical unit section (see the Assigning a physical unit section below).
  8. In the Booking status box, press the green Confirm Booking button.

The status becomes Confirmed. The guest offer linked to the booking is also marked "confirmed."

Booking detail page#

The detail page is made of the following sections.

Top area#

  • A ← Back to Bookings link.
  • A View Conversation button if the booking came from an offer made in a chat. This button does not appear on manually entered bookings.
  • The Booking number and, at top right, the status badge.

Booking status and buttons#

In the Booking status box, these buttons appear depending on the booking's status:

Current status Buttons shown Result
Pending Confirm Booking, Cancel Booking Confirm: the status becomes Confirmed (if the quota is full a warning replaces the button).
Confirmed Cancel Booking, Mark Stay Completed, Mark as No-show Use "Completed" when the stay is over, "No-show" if the guest did not come.
Cancelled No buttons. It says "This booking was cancelled." Cannot be undone from the panel.
Completed No buttons. It says "This stay has been completed." Cannot be undone from the panel.
No-show No buttons. It says "The guest was marked as a no-show." Cannot be undone from the panel.

Underneath is this note: "Status changes are reflected in the booking and its linked booking request."

Cancellation confirmation: When you press Cancel Booking a window opens: "Are you sure you want to cancel this booking?" Below it says "This will change the booking's status to Cancelled and update its linked booking request as well." Never mind closes the window, Yes, Cancel applies the cancellation.

When the status changes, the linked guest offer is updated too: Confirmed, Completed and No-show set the offer to "CONFIRMED", Cancelled sets it to "CANCELLED". You see this in the Booking request box at the very bottom of the page.

Information cards#

Card Contents
Guest Name, phone (it may say No phone information) and the email if there is one.
Room Type The room type name with a board-basis badge next to it.
Guests The number of Adults and Children. If this split was not recorded, it only says "N guests".
Stay Dates The Check-in and Check-out dates.
Total amount The booking's total price.
Created at The date and time the request arrived.

The board-basis badge can be one of: Room Only, Bed & Breakfast, Half Board, Full Board, All Inclusive, Ultra All Inclusive. This is the most important information for your kitchen and breakfast planning. If the guest did not choose, the system uses one of the room type's valid price plans; if there is more than one, it prefers Room Only.

How is the amount calculated? The total is the sum, for every night of the stay, of the nightly price of the price plan that applies to that night. The price is per accommodation unit; the number of adults or children does not change the amount and is only stored as a record. See Room Types for price plans.

Changing the room type#

In the Room Type section you see the current type, the Current total and a drop-down list. The list shows active room types in the order you set on the Room Types page. Each row shows the type name, the capacity and the Inventory: count (e.g. Bungalow — 4 guests — Inventory: 6).

  1. Choose the new type from the list.
  2. Press the Change Room Type button.

The system checks the following. If one fails, the change is not applied:

  • The selected type must exist and be active.
  • The booking's guest count must not exceed the new type's capacity (e.g. "This room type has a capacity of at most 4 guests.").
  • The new type must be available on the booking's dates (e.g. "Bungalow is not available for the selected dates.").
  • A verified price must exist for the new type on those dates.

If it succeeds, the total amount is recalculated with the new type's price, the linked offer record is updated, and the current physical unit assignment is removed. The note under the section reminds you: "Changing the room type removes the current physical room assignment. You can then select a physical unit for the new room type from the section below."

Changing the booking source#

Under the room type section there is the Booking Source box. It shows the booking's current channel as a colored badge (e.g. Direct / Web) and below it the text "Update which channel this booking came from."

  1. Choose the correct channel from the drop-down (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Phone, Direct / Web, Other).
  2. Press the Update button.

The page reloads and the badge shows the new channel. The change is reflected immediately in the Source column on the list page and in the Channel Breakdown on the Finance page.

  • The source can always be changed, whatever the booking's status (also on cancelled or completed records).
  • Changing the source does not affect the amount, availability, unit assignment or payments.
  • If you choose the same channel again and press Update, nothing changes.

For example, if a guest left a request in the chat but actually found you through your Booking.com listing, you can mark the channel as Booking.com.

Assigning a physical unit#

If the booking has a room type (e.g. "Bungalow"), you decide in this section which physical unit (e.g. "Bungalow 3") the guest will stay in.

The section shows:

  • Under Physical unit, the number of the assigned unit or Not assigned yet.
  • On the right, Available for these dates with "N units" next to it.
  • A drop-down list: the first option is No physical unit selected, followed by the available units (Number — Active, with the unit's note as well if there is one). A unit that is already assigned stays in the list as Current assignment.
  • An Assign Unit button.

Steps:

  1. Choose the unit from the drop-down list.
  2. Press Assign Unit.

To remove the assignment, choose No physical unit selected and press Assign Unit.

The system checks the following:

  • The unit must belong to this room type and be Active. Units in Cleaning, Maintenance or Out of service status do not appear in the list.
  • The unit must not already be assigned, on these dates, to another booking that is Pending or Confirmed. Otherwise you get the error "Unit {number} is assigned to another booking on these dates."

Warnings can appear under the section:

  • No physical unit has been defined for this room type yet… Add units first on the Room Types page.
  • There is no active, available physical unit for this booking's dates.

Assigning a unit is not mandatory; a booking without one can also be confirmed. But if the "which tent" information matters at your camp or hotel, it is a good idea to assign it before the arrival day. The assignment is also reflected in the Calendar.

Recording payments#

The Payment Information section (with Payments & Finance above it) shows the booking's money status. The system does not collect money itself and does not send payment links to guests. This is the ledger where you record money you have received, are expecting or have refunded.

At the top there is Booking total: and three cards:

Card Meaning
Total The booking's total price.
Net Collected Payments with the status Completed minus refunds with the status Refunded. Pending records (link sent, reconciliation pending, manual refund required, etc.) are not counted.
Remaining Total minus net collected (never goes below 0). Red if there is a balance, green if it is fully paid.

Below are two buttons: + Add Payment and ↩ Refund.

To record a payment:

  1. Select + Add Payment (it is enabled when there is a remaining amount).
  2. Fill in the fields in the Add New Payment form (see the table).
  3. In the Status field, choose the current state of the money (see the Payment statuses section below).
  4. Press Save Payment.

To record a refund:

  1. Select ↩ Refund (it is enabled when there is a net collected amount).
  2. Fill in the fields in the Refund Transaction form.
  3. Check the Status field. For a refund the default is Manual Refund Required; if you have already made the refund, choose Refunded.
  4. Press Save Refund.
Field Required? Description
Amount Yes Must be greater than 0. For a payment the remaining amount is filled in by default, for a refund the refundable amount; you can change it. You can use a comma or a dot for decimals. The currency is the same as the booking's.
Payment method Yes Cash (default), Card, Bank Transfer, Online, Other.
Status Yes Default Completed for a payment, Manual Refund Required for a refund. The options depend on the transaction type (see below).
Note No Examples: "Deposit" (payment), "Guest refund" (refund).

Payment statuses

Every payment record has a status. The status shows whether the money has actually changed hands. The Status list offers these options depending on the transaction type you chose:

Transaction Status When to choose it Does it affect the balance?
Payment Completed You received the money (cash in hand, card charged, transfer in your account). Yes
Payment Payment Link Sent You sent the guest a payment link (from your own bank or payment provider) and they have not paid yet. No
Payment Reconciliation Pending The guest says "I paid" but you have not yet matched the amount in your bank account or statement. No
Payment Pending Payment has been promised but not made yet. No
Payment Cancelled You only want to keep the record as a trace (e.g. a payment link that was dropped). No
Refund Manual Refund Required The refund was decided but you have not sent the money back yet. No
Refund Refunded You gave the money back to the guest. Yes
Refund Cancelled The refund was called off. No

Only records in Completed (payment) and Refunded (refund) status affect the Net Collected and Remaining cards and the Finance page. The other statuses are for tracking only: who still owes you a payment and which refund has not been made yet — you see these in Payment History.

Closing a pending record

Under records with the status Pending, Payment Link Sent, Reconciliation Pending or Manual Refund Required, two small buttons appear in the Payment History list:

  • ✓ Mark as Completed: The money arrived (or the refund was made). The record becomes Completed (Refunded for a refund) and enters the balance. The record's date is updated to the moment you press this button, so the Today / This Week / This Month cards on the Finance page show the day the money actually arrived.
  • Cancel: The payment will not arrive or the refund will not be made. The record becomes Cancelled and never enters the balance.

When the action succeeds the page reloads. These buttons do not appear on records with the status Completed, Refunded or Cancelled; these statuses cannot be undone from the panel.

During Mark as Completed the balance is checked again. If other payments were entered in the meantime and the record would exceed the balance, the action is rejected with one of these errors: "Bu rezervasyonda kalan tutar {amount} {currency}. Bu kayıt tahsil edilmiş olarak işaretlenemez." (the remaining amount is too low to mark this record as collected) or "İade edilebilir tutar {amount} {currency}. Bu kayıt iade edilmiş olarak işaretlenemez." (the refundable amount is too low to mark this record as refunded). These server messages are in Turkish regardless of the panel language. If the update fails for another reason it says "Could not update the status."

Rules and error messages

  • If the amount is invalid: "Enter a valid payment amount." / "Enter a valid refund amount."
  • A payment cannot exceed the Remaining amount: "You can collect at most {amount}." This limit applies whatever status you choose; you cannot enter a payment-link amount larger than the remaining amount either. If it is fully paid, the form is replaced by "The full amount for this booking has been collected."
  • A refund cannot exceed Net Collected: "You can refund at most {amount}." If there is no completed payment, it says "There is no payment available to refund."
  • If saving fails: "Could not save the payment." / "Could not save the refund."

When saving succeeds the page reloads. At the very bottom there is the Payment History list; the newest record is at the top. Each row shows:

  • The method and Payment or Refund (e.g. "Bank Transfer · Payment")
  • A colored status badge: Completed green, Refunded red, all pending statuses yellow, Cancelled gray
  • The date and time (for pending records the moment it was entered, for completed records the moment it was completed) and the note if any
  • On the right, the amount: a completed payment is green +, a refunded refund red -; the amount of records not yet completed is shown in gray

If there are no records yet, No payment records yet. appears.

The result of payments flows into the Finance page automatically. If a booking's total changes because of a room type change, Remaining is recalculated accordingly.

Note and Booking request boxes#

  • Note: Appears if the booking has a note (the AI label and the guest's note are read here). On manually entered bookings, the text you wrote in the form's Note (optional) field appears here.
  • Booking request: Shows the Status:, Request date: and Expires at: of the offer the booking came from. The status is written here as an English code such as PENDING, CONFIRMED, EXPIRED or CANCELLED. The expiry is the end of the offer's 15-minute validity and is informational once the booking exists. Manually entered bookings have no offer, so this box does not appear on them.

Example scenario: a camp with 12 tents#

A request from the chat#

Your camp has 12 units of the "Glamping Tent" type at 1,500 TRY per night. A guest, Elif, picks 14-17 August for 2 adults and 1 child, chooses Bed & Breakfast, and confirms the offer in the chat.

  1. A new row with the Pending badge appears: the amount is 4,500 TRY (3 nights × 1,500). A notification appears on the bell icon.
  2. You call Elif and confirm. You take a 1,000 TRY cash deposit. + Add Payment → Amount 1000, Cash, Status Completed (default), Note "Deposit" → Save Payment. Net Collected becomes 1,000 and Remaining 3,500 TRY.
  3. In the Physical unit section you assign "Tent 7".
  4. You press Confirm Booking. The status becomes Confirmed; this month's counter shows 1 / 10 (on the Basic plan).
  5. Elif arrives and pays the remaining 3,500 TRY by card: you enter 3,500 with the Card method. Remaining becomes 0 and "The full amount for this booking has been collected." replaces the form.
  6. After check-out you press Mark Stay Completed.

In the list, this booking's Source column says Direct / Web.

A booking from Booking.com#

A Booking.com booking comes in for the same camp: Murat, 20-22 August, 2 guests, Glamping Tent, Room Only. Booking.com does not send this booking to the panel on its own; you enter it.

  1. Bookings → + New Booking.
  2. Full Name Murat Yılmaz, Phone +905321112233. If you do not want to enter the email address Booking.com gave you, leave Email (optional) empty (if it is filled in, the guest gets a Turkish "request received" email).
  3. Room Type Glamping Tent, Check-in Date 20.08, Check-out Date 22.08, Number of Guests 2, Board Basis Room Only, Booking Source Booking.com, Note "Booking.com res. no. 1234567890".
  4. Create Booking. The new booking's detail page opens: Pending, amount 3,000 TRY (2 × 1,500), source badge Booking.com.
  5. You send the guest a payment link from your own bank by SMS. + Add Payment → Amount 3000, Online, Status Payment Link Sent → Save Payment. A row with a yellow Payment Link Sent badge appears in Payment History; Remaining is still 3,000 TRY.
  6. You press Confirm Booking.
  7. The next day the payment reaches your account. You press ✓ Mark as Completed on that row. The badge becomes Completed, Remaining drops to 0 and the amount shows in Finance as that day's activity.

At the end of the month, when you set the Channel filter to Booking.com and press Filter, the summary cards show only the count and revenue of Booking.com bookings.

Tips and common mistakes#

  • Do not leave pending requests waiting. A Pending request blocks availability; a request you do not follow up on can stop another guest from getting that tent. Cancel any request you cannot confirm.
  • Call before you confirm. Mira does not take payment or finalize anything; the guest is also told you will call.
  • The quota looks at "confirmed" bookings. Keeping many requests in Pending does not use up your quota. The quota fills as you confirm. If you mark a finished stay as Completed, it drops out of the counter.
  • A cancelled booking disappears completely from the Finance report (including its payments and refunds). If you keep a deposit instead of refunding it, that money does not show in the report; keep a separate note in your own records.
  • A payment record can also be entered on a cancelled booking. The panel does not prevent it, but those payments are not included in the Finance totals.
  • Completed, No-show and Cancelled cannot be undone. If you are not sure, talk to the guest first.
  • Dates are shown as dd.mm.yyyy, even when the panel is in English.
  • Re-assign the unit after changing the room type. The assignment is removed.
  • If a guest's phone number looks wrong, check the chat with View Conversation. Numbers from the chat are stored in international format (+90…); manually entered ones are stored as you typed them.
  • Guest details cannot be edited later. The name, phone and email come either from the guest's chat form or from your + New Booking form. Once the record exists there is no field in the panel to edit guest details; type carefully when entering manually.
  • Watch the board basis when entering manually. The form defaults to Room Only. If your room type only has a Bed & Breakfast price defined, the booking cannot be created without changing the board basis.
  • Press Create Booking only once. The button is not locked while the form is being sent; if you press it twice, two bookings may be created for the same guest (if a unit is available). If that happens, cancel the extra one with Cancel Booking.
  • Check the status when recording a refund. In the ↩ Refund form the status defaults to Manual Refund Required, and such a record does not reduce Net Collected. If you have already made the refund, choose Refunded, or close it later with ✓ Mark as Completed.
  • Close pending payments regularly. Records left as Payment Link Sent or Reconciliation Pending do not count as collected; Remaining keeps looking high.
  • Do not misread the summary cards while a channel filter is on. With the filter on, the cards count only that channel.
