The Business Info page is the source of the basic facts Mira (your AI receptionist) uses when she gives guests exact, verified answers. For the fields you fill in here, Mira does not guess: she passes on what you wrote. For fields you leave empty, she says "no verified information". This is the first page every business owner should complete during setup.
What is on the screen#
When you click Business Info in the left menu, you see a small BUSINESS MANAGEMENT label, the page title and a short description. Right below is an amber Answer priority box. Under that, these sections follow from top to bottom:
- Basic Info: business name, description, address, city, country, Google Maps link.
- Business Logo: logo upload.
- Contact Info: authorized contact name, phone, WhatsApp, email, website, business type, total rooms.
- Regional Settings: default language, content language, currency, timezone, estimated hourly labor cost.
- Check-in / Check-out: check-in/check-out times, early check-in, late check-out, reception hours.
- Wi-Fi: network name and password.
- Pets: whether pets are allowed and under what conditions.
- Cancellation / Reservation Policy: free cancellation window and penalty/deposit note.
Each section has a right-aligned Save Changes button underneath. These buttons are not independent: the whole page is one single form, so whichever button you press, all fields on the page are saved together.
In what order does Mira use this information?#
When a guest asks a question, Mira looks for the answer in this order:
- The fields on this page (check-in/out, pets, cancellation, Wi-Fi, room count, contact, location, currency, weather),
- the Facilities list,
- Knowledge Base entries.
If a topic is filled in here, guests always get the answer from here. You do not need to write the same topic in the Knowledge Base as well; if you do, that entry is not used. See Knowledge Base.
Step by step: filling it in for the first time#
Example scenario: you run a 12-tent campsite in Kemer called "Pine Camp".
- Go to Business Info in the left menu.
- Under Basic Info, type "Pine Camp" in Business Name. In Description, write a short 2-3 sentence introduction (for example "A quiet 12-tent campsite in a pine forest, a 10-minute walk from the sea.").
- Enter the Address, choose "Türkiye" as Country and "Antalya" as City.
- Optionally, open your location in Google Maps, use Share, and paste the short link into Google Maps Link (optional).
- Under Contact Info, enter your phone, WhatsApp (with country code, e.g.
905551112233) and email. Choose "Campsite" as Business / Facility Type. - Under Regional Settings, check Default Language, Content language, Currency and Timezone.
- Under Check-in / Check-out, enter times such as check-in 14:00 and check-out 11:00, and write "08:00 - 22:00" in Reception Hours.
- Fill in the Wi-Fi, Pets and Cancellation / Reservation Policy sections.
- Press Save Changes. The page reloads and you see a green confirmation at the top: ✓ Business info updated successfully.
- Try Mira: on the Widget page, use the Live Preview and ask "What time is check-in?"
Field by field#
Basic Info#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Business Name | Required. If you leave it empty, nothing is saved and you get the error "İşletme adı zorunludur." (business name is required; the message is in Turkish). It updates both your account name and the hotel name. Mira uses this name in her answers ("Yes, pets are welcome at Pine Camp."). | Pine Camp |
| Description | Optional (4-line box). Mira draws on this text when she introduces your business. It is translated automatically through the Translations box. | "A quiet 12-tent campsite in a pine forest." |
| Address | Optional (2-line box). When a guest asks "Where are you?", Mira writes the address and adds the map link. | 5 Beach Road, Çamyuva, Kemer |
| Country | Chosen from a list (Türkiye, Almanya, Birleşik Krallık and so on, with Diğer at the end). If empty, Türkiye is preselected. The country names in this list are shown in Turkish even in the English panel. | Türkiye |
| City | The list changes with the country you pick. If your city is not listed, choose Other / Manual entry; a Type city name box opens below. For countries without a city list (for example Diğer), you type the city directly. | Antalya |
| Google Maps Link (optional) | The map link sent to guests. If you leave it empty, Mira builds a longer automatic Google Maps search link from your business name and address details. A short shared link always points to the right spot. | https://maps.app.goo.gl/... |
Business Logo#
On the left of this section is a preview box (it says "No logo" if there is none); on the right, under New Logo, is a Choose File button.
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| New Logo | Optional. Formats: PNG, JPG/JPEG or WebP, maximum 2 MB. You see the picture in the preview as soon as you choose it, but it is not uploaded until you press Save Changes. | A square or wide PNG with a transparent background works well. |
The logo appears to the left of the greeting line on the Dashboard, in the small badge in the sidebar of the guest chat, and in the top bar of the Live Preview on the Widget page. When you upload a new logo, the old one is deleted. If you upload the wrong format or a large file, a warning starting with ⚠️ Kaydedilemedi: appears at the top ("Logo yalnızca PNG, JPG/JPEG veya WebP olabilir." or "Logo dosyası en fazla 2 MB olabilir."; these messages are in Turkish) and no field is saved in that attempt.
Contact Info#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Authorized Contact Name | For your own records only. Never shown to guests. | Alex Morgan |
| Phone | The number a guest can tap to call. | +90 555 111 22 33 |
| WhatsApp Number | Enter it with the country code, no spaces, and without a leading + or 0. When you save, the system removes non-digit characters such as spaces, brackets and +; but getting the country code right (90 for Türkiye) is up to you. | 905551112233 |
| The address guests can write to. | reservations@pinecamp.com | |
| Website | Optional. An address starting with https://. |
https://pinecamp.com |
| Business / Facility Type | Your type of business. Options: Hotel, Resort, Pension, Apart Hotel, Villa, Bungalow, Glamping, Campsite, Caravan Park, Hostel, Guesthouse, Other. Mira phrases her sentences to match ("Our hotel is..." / "Our campsite is..."). | Campsite |
| Total Rooms | Optional whole number, 0 or more. If filled in, Mira answers "How many rooms do you have?" with "We have a total of 12 rooms." If empty or 0, that question falls through to the other sources. Camps and caravan parks can enter their number of tents or pitches. | 12 |
If you type a decimal number, the fraction is dropped (12.7 is saved as 12).
Regional Settings#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Default Language | Options: Türkçe, English, Deutsch, Русский. It does two things: (1) a guest who opens your Guest Link without a language starts the chat in this language (guests can switch with the TR/EN/DE/RU selector above the chat at any time). (2) It decides the language of the panel: if Türkçe is selected the panel is in Turkish, and if any of the other three is selected the panel is in English. There is no separate language button in the panel. | English |
| Content language | Tells the system which language you write your information in (description, notes, facilities, Knowledge Base). The other languages are translated from it automatically. See "How translations work" below. | English |
| Currency | One of TRY, EUR, USD, GBP, RUB, SAR, AED, GEL. Used for new price entries and on the Dashboard, Bookings and Finance screens; Mira answers "Which currency do you use?" with it ("Our prices are in Euro (EUR)."). Changing the currency does not automatically convert your existing prices. | EUR |
| Timezone | Istanbul (UTC+3), London, Berlin, Moscow, Dubai, Riyadh, Tbilisi, New York, Los Angeles. Used for the day boundaries of weather forecasts. | Istanbul (UTC+3) |
| Estimated Hourly Labor Cost (your currency is shown next to it) | Optional whole number. Used for the savings line of the Mira performance card on the Dashboard: enter roughly what one staff-hour costs you. If left blank, a rough default for your currency is used: TRY 150, EUR 20, USD 20, GBP 17, RUB 600, SAR 30, AED 30, GEL 18. The faded number in the box (placeholder) is that default. | 18 |
Check-in / Check-out#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Check-in Time | Time picker. | 14:00 |
| Check-out Time | Time picker. | 11:00 |
| Early check-in available | If ticked, Mira says "Early check-in may also be available; since this depends on availability, I'd recommend confirming with reception." | |
| Late check-out available | The same for late check-out. If both are ticked, she says both in one sentence. | |
| Reception open 24/7 | If ticked, Mira says "Our reception is open 24/7." and the hours field below is ignored (not saved). | |
| Reception Hours | Free text. Fill it in if reception is not open 24/7. | 08:00 - 22:00 |
Mira's answer has three parts: the times, a sentence about early/late flexibility, and a reception sentence. Example: "Check-in time: 14:00 / Check-out time: 11:00 / Early check-in or late check-out is not guaranteed. / Reception hours: 08:00 - 22:00."
Wi-Fi#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Network Name (SSID) | The name of your Wi-Fi network. | PineCamp_Guest |
| Password | The Wi-Fi password. The box shows it as plain text. Mira's Wi-Fi answer only works when the password is filled in (a network name alone is not enough). | welcome2026 |
Security rule: The password is shown only to guests staying with you. A guest counts as staying with you if they opened the chat through a room QR code/link (see Installing on Your Website and Guest Link) or if they have a confirmed booking covering today (check-in ≤ today ≤ check-out) with a physical unit assigned. Pending or future bookings do not count. To anyone else Mira says: "For guest security, we can only share the Wi-Fi password with guests who are currently staying with us. Please ask our reception."
Pets#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Pets allowed | If ticked, Mira says "Yes, pets are welcome at Pine Camp."; if not ticked, "Pets are not allowed at Pine Camp." If the guest wrote "cat" or "dog", Mira uses their word. | |
| Conditions / Fee Note | Optional single line. If it contains several sentences or parts separated by ;, they are shown as bullet points. It is translated through the Translations box. |
Small and medium dogs, no extra fee |
Cancellation / Reservation Policy#
| Field | What it does | Example / Note |
|---|---|---|
| Free Cancellation (hours before arrival) | Optional whole number (0 or more). If you enter 24, Mira says "Free cancellation is available up to 24 hour(s) before arrival." If you enter 0, she says "This rate does not offer free cancellation." If you leave it blank, it counts as "not defined" and no such sentence is produced. |
48 |
| Penalty / No-show / Deposit Note | Optional single line; Mira adds this note as it is (translated). It has a Translations box. | A one-night charge applies for late cancellation |
The topic counts as "defined" when at least one of the two fields is filled in.
How translations work#
Your guests may speak Turkish, English, German and Russian. You write only in your own content language; the other languages are translated automatically the moment you press Save.
Translated fields (on this page): Description, the Conditions / Fee Note under Pets, and the Penalty / No-show / Deposit Note. The business name, address, phone and time fields are not translated; they are shown as they are. The same translation system is also used in Facilities, Extra Services and Room Types.
Under translated fields there is a small Translations heading (with text like "TR · DE · RU" next to it). Clicking it opens the boxes for the other languages. Each translation has a status badge:
| Badge | Meaning | If the original text changes |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic | The system translated it. | It is translated again. |
| Edited manually | You changed the translation box. | Your translation is kept, but a ⚠ Source changed warning appears. |
| Not translated yet | The translation service did not respond when you saved. | It is translated and saved the moment a guest asks in that language. |
| ⚠ Source changed | The original text changed after this translation was written. | Please review the translation. |
What you can do:
- Correct a translation: type in that language's box. It becomes Edited manually and is never overwritten automatically again.
- Go back to automatic: empty the box, or tick Switch back to automatic translation and save.
- Dismiss a warning: after checking the translation, tick Translation is up to date, dismiss warning and save. The Translations box opens by itself when a field has a warning.
- If a translation fails completely: for topics where mistakes are costly, such as prices and policies, Mira says "no verified information" instead of showing the raw source text. So if you see Not translated yet, try saving again.
Numbers, prices, currencies and proper names are kept exactly as written during translation.
Changing the content language: if you pick another language in Content language and save, your existing texts are not deleted; the existing translations in that language become the new source. After saving, the page is redrawn in the new language. Write new texts in the new language from then on. The same translation boxes appear in Room Types and Facilities.
What happens next#
- Changes take effect immediately. There is no separate "publish" step; after you save, Mira uses the new information on the guest's very next question.
- A green ✓ Business info updated successfully. message appears at the top. If something goes wrong, a red ⚠️ Kaydedilemedi: box shows the reason (these error texts are always in Turkish). On an error, none of the changes in that attempt are saved; fix the problem and save again.
- Mira answers these fields deterministically (with fixed templates): the time or number you wrote is passed on exactly, and the AI does not reinterpret it.
- For fields you leave empty, Mira looks at Facilities first, then the Knowledge Base; if it is not there either, she says "no verified information" and shows the contact buttons.
Tips and common mistakes#
- Forgetting the country code in the WhatsApp number: if you write
0555 111 22 33the link will not work; write905551112233. - Entering a personal number: the phone, WhatsApp and email are shown to guests. Use your reception line.
- Looking for breakfast here: use Info Center → Facilities and Extra Services for breakfast and transfer. If you do not add a facility named "Breakfast", Mira says "I have no information" about breakfast unless there is a Knowledge Base entry.
- Writing the same information in two places: for a topic that is filled in here, the Knowledge Base entry is not used. Pick the one place you will keep up to date.
- Leaving the city empty for weather: with no city, Mira cannot answer weather questions.
- Test in the Live Preview first: after saving, ask real questions on the Widget page and check the answers.
- For the first setup steps of the whole account, see Getting Started.
